EVEN THE DISHES TURN FALL COLORS!

Good Thursday morning. Hope all is well with you and yours. The sun is shining and it is a nice, cool morning in Tennessee.

A precious friend at church came to me before the service started, and brought me the following:
She said she was out shopping, saw this mug and immediately thought of me.  Wonder why?  lol

Chattanooga had a memorial yesterday honoring the men who were killed here.  There were over 10,000 and it was held on the banks of the Tennessee River.  A number of high school bands and ROTC units and other military units were among those featured in a downtown parade that began at 2 p.m. and went down Broad Street to the Tennessee River.
There was also a dramatic flyover of the Blue Angels.
At the start of the concert Chattanooga native Samuel L. Jackson, emceed on the Coke Stage, that was brought in just for the event.
Harry Connick Jr. was one of the concert headliners.
Brantley Gilbert announced this week that he had invited Trace Adkins, Colt Ford and Aaron Lewis to perform at the 'Chattanooga Unite: A Tribute On The River benefit'.
All proceeds go to aid the families of the slain service members through the National Compassion Fund.
All in all, it was a somber, but great day in our city.

  4. I'm glad those poor men had a memorial. I pray they raised enough funds for the family of the fallen to meet their needs and then some.
Hope your day is blessed. ~:)
