USA USA USA!!! The women's soccer team won it all and it was exciting to watch. I came in from church (Jim didn't feel like going) and turned it on. They really did win big, 5-2! They will play in Chattanooga on August 19th, and tickets have been sold out already for weeks.
Am hoping for a quiet week. We have one appointment for Jim this week, and it is to the pain clinic on Thursday. Other than that, nada. We are praying for some sunshine too. It has been wet too long.
Bill paying this week....fun, fun, fun----NOT!
My hint for today:
My cat picture for today:
(What's wrong with this picture?)
I hope the sun shines on you this week!
ReplyDeleteA quiet week here as well, Linda...
ReplyDeleteAnd I am glad.
I am hoping fir some sun too!
Have a cozy day, my friend!
I do like your photo header! Mountains always catch my attention. I hope you have a good week. I'm looking forward to a quiet week too. Blessings!
ReplyDeleteI pay most all our bills on the 1st of every month. Just a little habit I picked up when that was my profession. In a business office, keeping track of possibly hundred's of bills, it simplified the process, plus kept me from accidentally paying the same people twice.
ReplyDeleteThe header today is pretty. That's a nice view.
Quiet here too. Sitting here in the sweltering summer heat hoping the A/C guy will call and say he has our compressor. It has been a long miserable weekend.
Hope the appt. for for good reasons and it all goes well.
Luv ~:)
Hoping Jim will feel better soon, life is tough when in pain.
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful photo of the city! It looks like an incredible place to live.
ReplyDeleteI knew about lemon juice, but have never heard about using Sprite to keep fruit from turning brown! Good to know. We were excited about the women's soccer team winning, though didn't get to see it. Hoping for a rerun. Having a blast at the beach!
ReplyDeleteYour header is beautiful! I hope to visit TN soon to see my step-son. I'm not much into soccer, but am glad the USA won. Hope Jim gets some relief from his pain. I know what that's about all too well.
ReplyDeleteWE watched the game and it was AWESOME! Love your city! Have a blessed day dear friend, HUGS!
ReplyDeleteGiggling over the lion picture. Sigh, I do miss Chattanooga. Have a beautiful Tuesday! (I know, I am a day late in commenting) Blessings
ReplyDeleteA lot of us have been having that wet weather! I think the lion got the best part of the deal. That would make for an interesting animal.
