I really don't have any news to report. Aryn's basketball team played their first district game last night. They won and she scored 26 points.
We are enjoying the Christmas movies on the Hallmark Channel this year. It is so refreshing to watch a decent movie again.
We have a very large bus ministry at our church and last year we began an 'Angel Tree', where there are ornaments on the tree, with a child's name and age and boy or girl. Anyone that wants to participate, can take an ornament and buy a $10.00 gift. On the Sunday of our Cantata, after it is over, all the children go to the fellowship hall and get a gift and refreshments. This picture is from summer and the number of children has grown. Some of these children wouldn't have any gifts for Christmas so if we can help in a small way, it is a blessing.
KEEP CHRIST IN CHRISTMAS
Our church has a couple of "Angel Trees" and we also feel blessed to be able to help those less fortunate, and especially the little ones. We have an 8 year old boy and a 10 year old boy this year. They both have quite a list, including bikes (which we can't afford for them!), but we can do Legos, a football, a remote controlled car and perhaps a t-shirt. Shoes are also on the list. Breaks my heart that they need to ask for shoes. We'll see what we can find. I'd rather do that than have something for me under the tree, actually.

Keep us posted on the cataract. I have one now...still too new to think about surgery, though.
Our church has an angel tree too. It's fun to get things for those kids.
