The mission conference ends tonight. We have heard some heart-warming preaching, heard some beautiful singing, and learned so much. Those of us who feel we have nothing, have more than these gentlemen do in their countries. We have warm/cool buildings to worship in - they meet under a tree or in a tent. I learned that even though I can't go to a foreign land to give the Gospel, by giving to missions, I am there with them, so to speak. If I can't give, I can pray for them.
The man that is head of the H.E.L.P. missions gave a good example. Every time I give to missions, I get a 'coupon', and then when I get to Heaven, and stand before God, He will commend me with all the 'coupons' I earned on earth. I know that may sound silly, but what we do on earth counts in the hereafter.
God bless.
Yay!!!!! Congratulations and good luck!
