STOP IT!

Stop the bullying in our schools!  I am sure there always has been some form of bullying in our schools, but today, it is at the forefront.  It has become so prevalent that young people are killing themselves because of it.  It has to stop....somehow, some way. As school begins, I am praying that no one is so bullied and unhappy, that they don't take their own life or the life of another.

On another note, my old car is misbehaving and our mechanic is coming to get it and determine the cause and hopefully repair it.

Bill paying day and as you probably feel the same way, I dislike it but also don't want my lights turned off or my water to stop running.  LOL

School days, school days
Dear old golden rule days
Readin' and 'ritin' and 'rithmetic
Taught to the tune of the hickory stick
You were my queen in calico
I was your bashful barefoot beau
And you wrote on my slate
"I love you, so"
When we were a couple of kids.

  1. Bullying is a big problem..not just from the kids either..teachers/educators as well. I pray there is nothing serious wrong with the car. Blessings

  2. You know, I really don't remember bullying when I was in school. Since I lived in a very small town, and the school was also very small, we all knew everyone and perhaps that was the difference. Or maybe I was just naive and didn't notice it going on, but I think I would have been aware. It is sad that bullying has escalated to the place where lives are taken because of it. Such a shame.

  3. I hate having car trouble. Hubby always goes ballistic when it happens. Hope your car doesn't need any major/expensive repairs.
Bullying is a big problem, inside and outside of school.
My grandson faced a bully when they moved into another school district. His mother tried everything, but all she got from the teachers and principal was "we need to see it happen before we can do anything". Of course, they never did. It got so bad, for his safety she sent him back here to live with his father --- the worst thing she ever had to do. It was a horrible situation all around. He's grown now and doing just fine, I think. Emotional scars don't show.

  4. Bill paying, car troubles and bullies - all terrible! It seems that the more they try to teach about bullying, the worse it gets.

  5. Ugh .. car trouble! Yuck. I pray it's nothing serious.
Bullying sadly so prevalent everywhere these days. I've been bullied lots of time even in Church! I even once had a cyber bully when I used to contribute tombstone photos at FindAGrave!! But being an adult, I know how to deal with skanks like that. I've noticed that 9 times out of 10 it's done by women. Anyway, like I always say, what goes around, comes around.
Hope y'all are having a happy, healthy day otherwise.
    Luv ~:)
