RECOVERY

I hate to say it, but I have had to re-run the clothes in the dryer more than once.  I may have to do it today!

Had my epidural yesterday and believe it was the easiest and most effective I have ever had.  The only side effect I had at all, was sleep.  I got home around 11:30, ate some cantaloupe, sat down in my chair, and was so sleepy I went to bed.  I woke up at 9 pm.  I didn't know if it was 9 pm or 9 am.  It was dark, but the TV was on and the cats were running here and there.  I looked outside and couldn't tell, and about that time, one of my daughters called and I asked what day it was!  So, I sat up until about 12:30, went back to bed and slept til 7 am this morning.  I should be caught up and the pain is gone!!!! PTL

I am behind in reading posts, but will catch up today.  I may not comment on all of them, but will read.

My son in law is in Las Vegas on a business trip.  The conference only lasted two days, but he took the week off to travel around the area.  The first day he sent us pictures that he took of Zion National Park.
He told Leigh he was going to hike that trail,
but he really didn't!  Just teasing her.
Murphy just called and Jesse is sick. His Mom is to call the doctor, take him, and then bring him to Murphy.

Aryn plays volleyball, in addition to basketball, track and softball, and the volleyball team had a game last night. It was not one of the teams in their district, but a very big school across town. They won 1 and lost 2, but as I was told, played very good.  They do play a district game tonight and if possible, we may go.

I am foregoing the hint and cat picture today.

  6. Happy the pain is gone! Yeah for some sleep! Too funny about waking and not knowing if it was morning or the same day. It's very dark here at 9p....must not be in your neck of the woods.
    Take it easy....God Bless!

  7. Praise the Lord for the wonderful people who can give us comfort during our troubles. I pray that this epidural is effective for a long, long time. As for the sleep, perhaps you've been fatigued for many days and wasn't aware of it. Sometimes it is helpful to just "catch up".
So sorry to hear about little Jesse. I pray that the sickness is now behind him for good.
Happy that Aryn is playing and having fun.
Have a blessed evening my friend. Luv ~:)

  11. Glad your pain is gone, I wish mine would disappear all together. Lower back and hips are feeling better from the SI Injection, on the 7th. This Friday I will get Trigger injections in the shoulder/neck area in the back. Perhaps between the two I will feel better then I have in a long time. I hate to think any back surgery might be involved. Hang in there.
