Good morning to all. We have a dreary, rainy day so far. Not sure what the forecast is, but it really doesn't matter. I would be doing the same thing, rain or shine.
There is a memorial for the gentlemen that lost their lives on July 16th and the main speaker is V.P. Joe Biden. It will be held at the McKenzie Area on the campus of the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga. We have always called it 'The Round House', though not the correct name. The first 8,000 will be allowed inside, and the remainder will be able to hear from speakers outside the arena.
"CHATTANOOGA (WATE) – Vice President Joe Biden will join the Navy, Marine Reserve and the City of Chattanooga to commemorate the lives of five service members who were killed nearly four weeks ago and show their appreciation to the Chattanooga Police Department and emergency responders." (From the local newspaper)
Hint for today:
My cat pictures for today:
I love the coloring of their fur!
No two are ever exactly the same!
I have thoughts that perhaps the President ought to spend the day away from his vacation on Martha's Vineyard and join the Vice President, but I will leave it at that.
ReplyDeleteGreat tip and love the cat....have a Blessed day, Linda...rain here too.
Enjoy your day......sunny here, at least for a few hours.
ReplyDeleteI hope you're having a great weekend. It's raining here today. I love your cat pictures :)
ReplyDeleteWe are hot and lots of sunshine today.
ReplyDeleteBeen cleaning out the garage and it was hot work.
It's hot and no chance of rain here. Wanna trade? :)
ReplyDeleteGlad to hear that Biden has stopped groping women for a spell to put in an appearance for our military. Too bad the alleged Commander And Cheat couldn't stop hobnobbing with his rich buddies to pay attention to his job. Only 523 more days until both idjits are out of our lives (I hope).
Hope your day was blessed. ~:)
I have hooks in our guest bathroom. It gives us more room for more guests' towels. Works great. Beautiful markings on the cats. Hope your tomorrow isn't so dreary!
ReplyDeleteI could say something about who the speaker is and who didn't show up but I won't.
ReplyDeleteThose are very unsual cats. Love their coloring.
I've just been browsing and doing a catchup on your posts. Loved the cabinet full of old mugs and the gorgeous telephone.
ReplyDeleteI hope you are feeling a lot better soon, sciatica is horrible thing.
