HILL GETTING HIGHER AND HIGHER!

Our visit to Jim's cardiologist yesterday was good and bad. He got a good report, even was able to drop one of his medications.  That was very good, but the bad was that our appointment was at 2:20 and we didn't get out of there until 4:30, and it was storming, big time.  I was physically exhausted by the time we got home (after standing bumper to bumper on the Interstate for almost 20 minutes), and about 10 minutes after getting in the house, Murphy brought Jesse over to stay with us, while he worked. Jesse is always good for us, but I laid down on the sofa in the living room, and went sound to sleep.  Jim, however was in his recliner, and was available for snacks!!!  Murphy didn't get in from work until after 11 pm.  Long day.

Tomorrow school starts here.  We are wondering how the situation between Murphy and Stacy, with getting the children to and from school, will play out.  Stacy is not a morning person, usually stays up most of the night, doing who knows what, and sleeps til after noon. That wont work for school hours.  We are hoping she will agree to have Jesse and Rayven stay with Murphy, so that he can take and pick them up on time.

Mr. Sciatica is working on me, big time, so guess it is time to call the doc for another epidural.  I had the last one in April, so will get this one, and hope it takes me to right before the Christmas holidays.

Hoping for cooler temps after the storm yesterday and hope you will have a nice, late summer day as well.

My hint for today:

Enlist the rule of five every time you clean.  Whenever you’re cleaning a room, get rid of at least five items, whether it’s a piece of trash, an old magazine, or just something you haven’t used in ages.

My cat for today:

  1. We had a series of storms here during the night and it is still raining--much needed--however it is still humid.

I am sorry about you being late to Jim's appointment, at least they took you...Keeping Murphy in prayer...good luck to the kids going back to school. I start back next Wed-for the training and then classes start back on the 31st. I am ready to go!

Keeping you and Jim in prayer---I hope you can get appointment soon. Blessings

  2. Glad the doctor appointment went well, but sorry for the horrid weather and traffic. Glad you were able to get in a nap. Keep us posted on how it goes with Jesse and Rayven. If Stacy has any sense, she will let Murphy be the parent. Great hint (if only I would do it) and very cute puppy/kitten photo. Rest if you can!

  6. Doctor visits are frustrating, especially when they take so long and traffic! Enjoy your evening and call to get the sciatica checked out:). Hope the schedules get worked out for school.

  7. I've heard that the traffic is bad in Chattanooga. So sorry to hear y'all got stuck in it. Thankfully, the doc could still see Jim. I pray you can get a doctor's appt soon. My wrists hurt almost all the time. When there's time, maybe you could expound on taking Ginger as a treatment please? I remember you're mentioning that was what you use. I've looked into it and am confused about dosages. I'm so Medically Challenged. *lol* Thanks. Cute cat pic. Luv ~:)
