Today, I put it off as long as I can. Every morning I sit here typing and at the same time, wonder what I will accomplish today. Oh, I have a list a yard long, but just don't want to do any of it. I think in my mind, if the kitchen is clean and we have something clean to put on, I will put off all the other 'stuff'.
Do you procrastinate?
So cheesey
Wrap cheese chunks in aluminium foil and store in the fridge to keep your cheddar fresher for longer and to keep mould out.
My Cat for today:
The two rules of procrastination:
1) Do it today.
2) Tomorrow will be today tomorrow.

I was always a hard worker. Get it done quickly and move on accomplish something else and so forth. This year I have become a procrastinater and don't like it! I just don't see any use in getting anything done anymore. Guess I need to snap out of it. :) Maybe it's the heat or other uncontrollable events. *sigh*
ReplyDeleteCute photo. Pretty cats.
Luv ~:)
I feel the same way, what difference does it make, one way or the other....blah
DeleteWELLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL......YEP. That's all I can muster up, wink. I have been putting off cleaning the stove/oven and I was so upset yesterday, I finally cleaned it, spotless. Which earned this from my hubby, "Wow, you really must of been ticked, I think I can see my reflection." Smart alec. wink
ReplyDeleteHave a lovely day friend...Blessings
If we are clean and the house is ok , now a days that is good as it gets.
ReplyDeleteI only procrastinate the things that don't really matter. If it's something that has to be done, I jump on it.
ReplyDeleteI could have written this post. I am so tired all the time and just don't care. If we have clean clothes and good food in our stomach, that's about all I can do.
ReplyDeleteOh my, Linda. I procrastinate at home all the time. At work, I have deadlines and have to stay organized which is probably why I just can't get motivated at home. Sigh. I DO use foil paper for cheese and it does keep longer that way. Love the cat photo (always!)!
ReplyDeleteThe last few years, I have slowed down and I just don't worry if some things get done or not. We don't have visitors or family, so if the floor gets gritty, who cares!!! lol I do prefer cool months over the hot summer, so maybe I will get some enthusiasm back!
ReplyDeleteI tend to procrastinate more at home than at work. Guess I wouldn't do well at being self employed!
ReplyDeleteCute kitties!
I feel the same as you and I wonder if it's because I'm retired and have all day/week to do it.

I procrastinate too:) I don't care how long the list is, I do what has to be done and keep the list for another day! Enjoy your day dear friend, HUGS!
ReplyDeleteIn Mom's later years, she use to say, I should be dusting, I got the dust cloth and spay out or I got the sweeper out, then I set down and turned on the TV. I told her not to worry, that dust will be there when we're both dead and gone. And she said, yes but if someone drops in everything looks pretty bad and I told her if they only come to look at her house instead of visit, they shouldn't even come to her door. I tell people they can drop in anytime they want, I have a lint roller to roll off the dog hair from their behinds when they leave, because with a dog that has white hair, you always see it laying around everyplace, especially furniture and bare floors. Didn't notice it so much when we had carpet, even though it was there. LOL It's raining here this morning, just makes me want to go back and get in my recliner and sleep some more. Have a great day.
