MY HAPPY PLACE!

Today is the day that I go to my 'happy place'.  It truly makes me happy to be with others who love God and worship Him, and Him alone.  I have the best Sunday School teacher ever, and that goes for my Pastor too.
Yesterday was a day of recovery for me, and I am not as sore this morning, but I still feel it a little.  Each day will get better.

The phrase "Dog Days" conjures up the hottest, most sultry days of summer. The Old Farmer's Almanac lists the traditional timing of the Dog Days: the 40 days beginning July 3 and ending August 11.  We are definitely in 'them'!
 "Dog Days bright and clear
  indicate a happy year.
 But when accompanied by rain,
for better times our hopes are vain."

I wish for you a blessed day.

My hint for today:
I knew there was a good reason
to eat chocolate in the mornings!

My cat picture for today:
....but will have happiness through out the day!

  6. It seems yesterday was my day of recovery too. I had such a stressful week it took a toll on my heart and all I could do is sleep. Today is MUCH better.
I like the idea of having chocolate for breakfast. As long as it's 70% dark, I'm so there.
It's always "Dog Days" around here with our two. *lol* Our bass boat we owned in the '80s-'90s I gave it the name of Dog Daze.
    Luv ~:)

  11. I agree on your Sunday thoughts. I had to work today and I miss my Sunday mornings in church.
We had a cool summer last year and so far this year too. We haven't hit 90 since the summer of 2013. I think today could still qualify for dog days though. It is humid and 89!
