OUT OF THIS WORLD!

There were 205 at VBS last night.  Everything is going really well, and with 5 bus loads of children, plus the ones their parents bring, it is truly 'out of this world'. They are learning Bible verses, playing games, singing, doing crafts, having snacks and hearing lessons from the Bible.

Two ladies provide a meal for the workers before it begins.

Jesse has been able to go every night and he loves it! There are things they can do to earn points, such as bring their Bible, learn their verses, etc.  On Friday night, there is a carnival and they can buy items with the points they have earned throughout the week.

God is good all the time, and all the time, God is good!

My cat picture for today:

  1. So happy that Jesse is enjoying VBS. I hope your weather will cool off some before the carnival tomorrow. I still remember the sweet teachers from VBS when I was a child.
I love the cat photo - look at those eyes!

  2. Sounds like a wonderful turn out. It's wet here, not sure if they could hold anything outside, ground is so wet.

  4. You have a very young congregation to have that many kids at VBS! Awesome, Linda. Lots of churches are struggling to get young families involved. It's so great that Jesse is able to go. I'm happy to hear that! Love the lion and those eyes are mesmerizing!! Have a good evening, my friend!

  7. I can't imagine that many kids in one place at the same time. Jesse must be having a wonderful time. The heat index is around 108* for us. It really needs to cool off. Another scary cat! Whoa! *lol* Luv ~:)
