EASY

I am referring to a recipe, not to me!  lol  I made the following for my hubby yesterday, and he said it was one of the best things he had eaten in the last month or so.  I never thought it would get that reaction.....it is too easy!

It is a lemon-poppyseed loaf, with a glaze on top. So easy, I am almost ashamed to type the ingredients----

2 packages of Martha White muffin mix - your choice
Follow recipe on back x 2, place in loaf pan and bake til brown.  (Approximately 30 min.) Cool and drizzle glaze on top.
Glaze - powdered sugar (2 cups), flavor of your choice 1/2 tsp. (I used some lemon juice with this one) and 1/4 cup milk.  Stir until smooth and drizzle on loaf once cooled.  I also put toothpick holes around the top so the glaze would sink in.

Have a wonderful day!

  2. Is the poppy-seed recipe on the box? I just wondered when you add poppy-seed and lemon to the muffin mix? Sounds yummy! Never would have thought about putting a muffin mix in a loaf pan - but makes perfect sense! Thanks, Linda!
