WEATHER, BASKETBALL AND mmmmm, COFFEE!

Good morning to all.  Time continues to fly by at record speed, or so it seems. Another 'holiday' gone, the month half gone, and I am wishing time would slow down.

If the weather forecasters are even near right, we will definitely be slow this coming week.  They, whoever they are, say we could get as much as 5 inches of snow.  Now, that is a lot of snow to us.  I know my friends up north and in the Midwest think that is nothing, but we aren't prepared to handle that much snow.  Just have to pray if it does come, all will be warm and safe.

GOOD NEWS!  My granddaughter's basketball team won the District Championship last night, beating their biggest rival.  Aryn made all tournament, all district, and MVP. Yes, we are happy for her and the whole team.  They worked really hard and this is the first year her school has done this.  The school is only 4 years old.

We will be going to church soon, so I wish each a nice day, and if you are already snowed in, stay warm and safe.

GOD BLESS US EVERYONE

  1. Congrats to Aryn! I was just reading your weather--wozers is right, I will pray that the snow will miss you. Are you sure you don't want some snow? Couldn't I entice you with some of ours? (giggling)--stay warm my sweet friend, we are staying in--minus nearly 30 at the present momment. Blessings

  3. You know, I quit asking for snow after I've seen what's going on up North. I hope the 5 inches is not correct and the system misses you. I'm afraid, though, it may be accurate. There's a Cold Front heading our way as we speak. It's definitely a long, cold winter for most.
Congrats to Aryn and the team. They can display that plaque proudly for many years to come.
Hope your eye is feeling good. I know you're ready to have the second one done. You're going to love having 20/20 vision except for up close. It's great!
    Luv ~:)
