MEN VS. WOMEN!!!

I know not all men are the same, but the joke is that when a woman is sick, she just 'keeps on keeping on'.  Some men get sick, he goes to bed and 'requests' everything and too sick to do anything. True or false at your house?  Or do you know a man/men that might fit the category?

Mardi Gras or Fat Tuesday is today.  The 40 days of Lent begins tomorrow.  I am watching the EarthCam in New Orleans, and you can as well, if you are interested.

My advertisement for the day ---
I have bought different kinds of lotion to keep my feet, especially heels, and legs from being so dry and scaly in the wintertime.  I discovered this one online, purchased it. I have been using it for 4 days, counting today. IT WORKS! The commercial said to use 3-5 days, and I would see a big difference. IT WORKS!  I highly recommend, can you tell?

Tennessee is under a huge warning due to ice and snow.  'Times they are a-changing!' I began to think about what is said in the Bible about the end of days.  As recorded in the King James Bible...........

Matthew 24:7
For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes, in divers places.

2 Timothy 3:1 - 5
1 This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come.
2 For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy,
3 Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good,
4 Traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God;
5 Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away.

Hmmm, any of the above apply to today?

GOD BLESS US EVERYONE

  3. I think it is the opposite at my house. I'm a big baby and like to be pampered when I'm not well and my husband is tough when he is not feeling well.

  4. Same at my house, Linda, except he sometimes tries to pretend nothing is wrong, waiting for me to notice that something is....then he can relax and be waited on. They are so transparent! LOL

Thanks for the tip on the lotion. I've been using one by Gold Bond that is pretty good, too.

Hope you can stay in, out of the bad weather!

  5. The cartoon made me giggle. I've known so many men that fit into that category.
It's very sad to say but 2 Timothy 3:1 - 5 sure fits this "present evil age". I don't know if it's the last days. Each age has been evil in it's own right (read medieval history -- wow, we're tame compared to their antics!) but our society is sliding downhill quickly.
Hope your eye is still feeling good and all is going well.
    Luv ~:)
