LOST

Aryn's team lost.  They played a team from Kentucky and they were a really good team. Even though the score didn't tell it, 49-41, our girls played hard and we are very proud of them and what they have done all year.  This is a fairly new school, 5th year of being opened.  Their first year team was 1-9,  so they have definitely improved.  There is always next year.  Aryn was the high scorer last night.

I woke up to the ground being covered in snow!  Snow!  Go figure....lol   It is still February and winter.  I was supposed to have my post op eye check today, but the Surgery Center is completely across town toward Knoxville, and I just am scared to drive there, not knowing about ice and snow.  The schools are closed again today.  I cancelled the appointment for today and re-scheduled for tomorrow morning at 9.

I am scheduled to have the cataract removed from my left eye on Thursday at 7 am, so if you can, hold a good thought that the snow will stay away for a day or two!

Have a good day.

GOD BLESS US EVERYONE

  5. Keeping you in prayer.--- Transformers blew today--the whole village of Alfred and Almond were out, so classes got out early. Talk about cold, minus 24-28 wc this am. Yep, saw that right, was just telling Sparky this has to be the coldest February we have ever had. Blessings

    1. I believe it is the coldest and and more snow than a big part of the country has had in a long time. Hope you can stay warm and maybe you will have tomorrow off too.

  6. So sorry to hear that Aryn's team lost. It must be very disappointing for her.

The entire East Coast is experiencing a wet winter. Ours is liquid, yours is white flakes. It is getting tedious, to say the least. I just hope we don't have a dry summer because of it. That's when we need the moisture the most. Anyway, prayers are offered for all my blogging buddies to stay safe in the inclement weather. Tread lightly, as the saying goes. Plus, prayers for the next surgery. You're in good hands.

    Luv ~:)
