RAINY DAY! BITS AND PIECES!

It is a great day to stay in pajamas all day long.  It is pouring rain and the forecast is for more of the same.

Grayce's soccer team won the district championship for the middle school yesterday. She was so excited and after the game, they all went to a 'cookie exchange'. She is on the back row, on the far right.
Today is her birthday party.  She was 13 on November 25, but the party was postponed until today because of the soccer tournament games.  She is having a BBQ and S'mores party at a reserved room at the Town Center.  Two of the high school boys are going to be 'D J's'.  They should have a great time, and pictures will follow.

Next weekend on Saturday, the annual 'Hoops For Hope' will be held and Aryn's basketball team will participate again.  There are 8 teams from around the area that participate in the games.  The benefits go to honor a lady from our city that lost her life to cancer several years ago.  The Cancer Center at one of our major hospitals has a wing named for her, and the money goes to further research there.
All the teams wear pink in some way, and the girl with the pink basketball happens to be my Aryn.  It is last year's picture, so new ones on the way.

I have finished shopping; now to wrap!  Need to finish Christmas cards to take to the post office at church tomorrow.

HAVE A WONDERFUL SATURDAY!
KEEP CHRIST IN CHRISTMAS!

  3. 13! Boy, I wouldn't be young again for all the money in Fort Knox. Congrats to her. I hope she has/had a wonderful party.
No wrapping for us anymore. I just sent money to the kids. Let them buy what they want. I think they prefer it that way anyway.
Hope you're both having a pain free and happy weekend.
    Luv ~:)
