Monday again....seems it rolls around toooo fast!  Hope you had a good weekend and are ready to face whatever comes your way.

The Missionary Conference got underway yesterday morning and what a blessing.  As the Conference lasts 4 days, there will be 3 men from different countries each morning and night.

We had the following yesterday:
Nigeria, Africa
and
The Philippines
and
(Serving in the deserts of the
middle east)

We not only got to meet these wonderful people, but got to hear about their ministry, their families and saw pictures of where they serve.  The gentleman from the Philippines sang Amazing Grace in his native language and then in English.  The gentleman from Nigeria wore his native clothes. Because of the conflict there, wearing the native dress keeps them safe, to a degree, from the Muslims.  The one from the deserts of the middle east has been there since 1981, has distributed over 5,000 Bibles, and for the last two years, conducts service in tents.  They all three have difficult work but God has blessed their ministry and kept them safe.

I look forward to tonight.

I forgot to post pictures from the brunch on this past Saturday.  We had a really good time and the food was wonderful.
We also had a ham and cheese quiche' and a hash brown casserole.  The muffins were chocolate chip pumpkin, and the breads were cranberry and apple/walnut, and all were gone in a short period of time....lol

So now I am caught up to today.  No plans, but who knows! lol

  2. Wow! What a fantastic background! I love it.
Those families are in danger every day but I know God is taking care of them. It's still scary what can happen to them in the area they live. God bless them.
The food at your brunch looks so good, especially the breads. I love cranberries.
You have a good evening at church.

  4. The food look delicious, and the gathering of the ladies looks like it was a great success! Your missionaries are from difficult areas, where their ministries are so needed. I pray that they will continue to do God's work, and will stay safe. Looking forward to hearing more!
