HOW R U FEELING THIS AM?

I am pretty much a happy camper this morning.  A good night's sleep, good report from the doctor on Jim yesterday, and we voted early, yesterday afternoon!

Pay Day also makes me happy.  I don't have much left, but being able to pay my bills is satisfying to me.

Fingers crossed and a little prayer for protection from injury, as the State Competition begins today at 12:30 for Aryn's volleyball team.

I know this seems silly to some, but as we missed church Sunday altogether, I am happy and thankful we are well and can go tonight.  Wednesday night at our church is, as I call it - 'home folks', but the Pastor calls it 'the core' of the church.  We come together as a group of believers and pray.  We pray for the big things and the little things.  God never tires of our prayers.

I still haven't sorted through my winter clothes, nor have I started taking the summer clothes down, so that may have to be this afternoon.  No appointments, no errands, so might be a good time to start and finish that project.

Holiday Hint----

Gather pine cones around your home. Lay them on a cookie sheet and bake in the over for an hour at 200 degrees to help them open up. Stick them in air tight bags and place several drops of cinnamon scented essential oil and shake up. Keep the bags closed for a couple of weeks. Take a few moments with each passing week to continue shaking them up. With a little patience you will have a cinnamon scent in your home from Thanksgiving to the winter holidays!

BE BLESSED!

  1. What a great way to decorate and have that wonderful cinnamon smell in the house! No pine cones in our yard, however. Glad Jim got a good report and that you will both enjoy church tonight!! The power of prayer is an awesome thing, indeed!!

  2. I am definitely going to try this one. How am I feeling today? Excited, anxious, excited, anxious. I'm excited because I am going to see the babies this weekend. At the same time, I am anxious hoping the money is going to stretch that far. I am excited about a new business endeavor. I am anxious because I don't know where it is going to lead. I am excited that my mamo is done but I am anxious to get the results. So, I'm between anxious and excited, but I know that God is good and faithful and He will make all things good! That excites me.

  5. I'm trying to catch up and I'm so happy for you. I'm glad you're sleeping and feeling better and that Jim got a good report from his doctor.
Thank you for the DIY pine cones. I always love smelling them in the stores during the holidays. Now, I know how to make my own.
It's not silly being so happy that you're able to go to church. You are so blessed to have a church family you can get together with. I would love to have that too. God bless you both.
