EARLY BIRTHDAY!

I was surprised yesterday by Jim.  I had walked to the mailbox and on my way back, he yelled from the front porch, and asked how I liked my birthday present.  I had no clue until I turned around and saw the beautiful mum. We had two trees destroyed in the tornado a couple of years ago, and there is a stump of one still there.  He had placed it on the stump.  He knows I love fall flowers and it was a very pleasent gift.
On top of that, Aryn's team won the District tournament and she made the all-district team as well.  Now they advance to the Regional games.  She is in the one in yellow.
No exciting plans today, other than to get car washed if it doesnt rain.  Have a great Friday and weekend as well.

  2. That's a great surprise, and they are such a pretty color! I don't know if I've ever seen fuchsia mums before. I always think of them as yellow or orange. Love those, and they look great on the stump, too.

Congrats to Aryn and her team!! Awesome!
