HAPPY GRANDPARENT'S DAY!

I saw a cartoon once that said, 'if I had known how much fun and how great grandchildren were, I would have had them first'!  I am so very blessed with my 6. Never a day goes by that I don't hear from them, and they seem to always have something good or exciting to tell me, even if it is just 'I didn't get in trouble at school today Nana' (Jesse, 1st grade).

They are growing up so fast thought.  Oldest is 16 and a Jr., next is 15, a sophomore, next is 12 a 7th grader, next is 8 a 3rd grader, and then two first graders.  It seems just like yesterday they were all just being born.  We were there for each one.

They each have their own personalities and getting old makes it a little harder to remember who is who and what is what!  They remind me though.  They keep me on my toes.  lol

I will leave you with this quote and pray you have a wonderful Sunday...........

What children need most are the essentials that grandparents provide in abundance. They give unconditional love, kindness, patience, humor, comfort, lessons in life.
And, most importantly, cookies.

  4. Yes, I agree. Yesterday was Mimi (that's me) day with Addie, age 6 and Juliette, age 4. We had a great time! Linda, looking at your junior high picture....well, who would have thought that all these years later we would be talking about grandchildren!!
