Getting a late start for me.  Feeling some better and did finally sleep about 4 hours last night.  Maybe if I keep multiplying by 2, I will eventually get to 8 hours.
Jim is some better too, but still so weak, I don't know how he stands up.  I took him to meet a guy who can fix what was wrong with a parking lot, for my old boss. He had to lean against the car while talking to him.

A blog friend, 'Just Simply Linda' had asked me to post a picture of the curtains when I got them up, so here it is....just plain brown.  The whole bedroom suite is made from Aspen wood and you can see the headboard in front of the curtains.  The sides are 'dark out' fabric and the center is sheer.

This is a picture of the Aspen trees in the forest.  You can look at the trunk of these trees and see what the furniture is made from.

  1. Beautiful.... I love the rustic wood look. I always have. I like the curtains behind the bed. Very nice.
I'm glad you're feeling a little better. Hopefully tonight you'll get even more sleep. You've both been lifted up in prayer. God bless.

  2. The furniture is great! Aspen wood is so pretty. Your new curtains look fabulous, too, Linda! I need new curtains in our living room, but just haven't found what I really want (or maybe I don't know what I want yet!). Glad you are feeling a bit better, and that Jim was able to get out to help with the parking lot. Just take care - both of you! Hugs.

  4. I loveeeee it!! The house we are moving too, the dining room and family room combo (well big enough to host both) has that kinda of wood. Actually, more like your background here, lol. --ANYWAYS--Thanks for sharing. btw, I noticed today, vivid colors: reds, oranges, purples..the season is a changing my friend. Blessings

  5. I'm pining for that furniture! *giggle* Love that look. The curtains are a perfect match. You have good tastes.
I wish I could do something to help you and Jim feel better. Maybe it's the season change upsetting the internal clocks. I pray you're both well soon.
    Luv ~:)
