GO, GO, GO AND DONT LOOK BACK!

This has been a long week it seems to me. Nothing much going on since the schools have started and everybody is back in the routine.  The weather has been decent, so can't complain there.   I really can't complain about anything, and that's a good thing!

Some time back I posted some art that had been painted on the side of a building here in town.  Well, now I have discovered some sidewalk chalk art. That is really fascinating in how the artist can make the picture seem so real.  I couldn't stop to take a picture of it, but below are some amazing ones.......

No plans for the weekend as usual.  Jesse will probably stay with us this evening, as his Dad goes to work, and his Mom works late. Yesterday, speaking of Jesse, we asked if school was going ok.  He said 'yes, the boy I got into a fight with yesterday is now my best friend, and a girl named Emily is after me!' You gotta luv 1st graders!

Joshua 1:9

Have not I commanded thee? Be strong and of a good courage;
be not afraid, neither be thou dismayed:
for the Lord thy God is with thee
 whithersoever thou goest."

  3. I love those sidewalk arts. It's so amazing to see how 3-dimensional they make them. That's not easy to do.
    First grade.... what a interesting time in their lives. And ours. I'm glad that boy is now his best friend. That's cute about the girl after him. Girls may mature faster than boys, but some are just too much in a hurry to grow up. Hope you have a great day with Jesse.

  5. Jesse's comments just made me chuckle out loud, Linda. He is something special, that boy is! The sidewalk art is always amazing. They have to do some major computations to get it so it looks 3D like that, which is what I find really amazing...that they can figure it all out and make it look so real. Thanks for sharing!

  6. Jesse is precious. That statement made me giggle.
    We're doing OK too, could complain just for the heck of it, but won't. God is good and be more merciful to us than we deserve. Our world is so dangerous and contrary but He keeps us safe and happy.
    I pray that y'all are having a pain free, soothing week. ~:)

  7. I've seen Julian Beever's sidewalk art before and I just love it. How talented he is.

    Jesse sounds so adorable. I'm glad he's not fighting with the boy anymore.
