Today I will be sending cards to my friends/family who have had sickness, death, birth or just 'patting them on the back'! I love my computer but there is still nothing like a hand-written card.
I will also be making one of my cobblers with fresh blueberries that our cousin across the street grows and brings to us every year. Mmmmm...with vanilla ice cream on top....mmmm....
I can almost taste it now!
I will leave you today with a song that will stick in your mind all day, but that's ok, it is a good one to remember.
Linda! You make me happy each and every morning with your different background changes!!!--now, what time shall I be over for that Blueberry Cobbler? (giggles)--Blessings
ReplyDeleteLove to have you any time!
DeleteHot coffee is important! Having some right now :)
ReplyDeleteGotta have that coffee for sure.
DeleteYou, knowing lovely people out there who love the same things I do...home, faith, family... Fall, coffee, tea, having no place to be, my children all under my roof, my hubby, and baking...
ReplyDeleteAnd that cobbler?!?!?!?
Enjoy !
I think seeing my friends blogging and they are happy makes me the happiest. There's a long list that makes me smile: country sunrises and sunsets, birds singing, dogs playing, children laughing, etc. Oh, and hearing someone profess Christ as their Saviour for the first time. I get chill bumps. I think I read in the Bible where the Angels sing when someone believes or gets saved or something like that. Can anyone find that verse (if there is one)? Thanks.
ReplyDeleteThe cobbler sounds heavenly! Wish I could still have sugar. Hope y'all are having a HAPPY day!
Luv ~:)
Luke15:7 (is this it?
DeleteI say unto you, that likewise joy shall be in heaven over one sinner that repenteth, more than over ninety and nine just persons, which need no repentance.
I love that song! I also love being happy. :) Your post made me happy, when I get done with work I'm getting my granddaughter, it's a beautiful day... All things to be happy about. :)
ReplyDeleteI would break my diet and join you for TWO pieces of that cobbler. It's good we live 12 hours apart! Great song, indeed, Linda! Your happy list and mine are identical! Love your fun background today!
ReplyDeleteYou're so right - there is nothing like a handwritten card or note - maybe that's why I make so many. The cobbler looks good. Today is Hubby's birthday and since blueberries are his favorite, I made blueberry pancakes for his breakfast.
ReplyDeleteHi Linda! The cobbler sounds so yummy! Your happy list put a smile on face! Some of things that make me happy are: God, my family, campfires, the beach, lazy weekends, baseball, tea, long drives...ahhh...I could go on and on..lol.
