THE MONDAY AFTER!

Hope everyone had an enjoyable holiday weekend. We had beautiful weather with little humidity.  That makes for a nice time to be outside, cookouts, swimming, fishing or whatever is fun to you.

Leigh took Grayce and a friend to Lake Winnepesaukah for the day and said it was lots of fun for them.  It is our big amusement park, which also has a water park included.
Harv and Aryn went to Kentucky for a showcase of basketball.  Coaches from colleges all over the country come to these to see prospects for their schools. The rules say that no college coach can contact a student until September of her Jr. year, and that is what Aryn will be this fall.
Murphy and his family went to spend the weekend with his in-laws.  They live on a lake on top of a mountain and her Dad is in charge of the cabins surrounding the lake, and that is where they stay. They fish, cookout, etc.  Jesse seems to love fishing.........and swimming!

All in all, it was a good weekend for everybody but we stayed low key and hopefully will feel better as the day goes on.

Moments in Time!

Some days are hard.  Some days are amazing.  Some days I want to go back to bed and the day hasn’t even begun.  The days are long but the years are short.  I think about this a lot. I don’t want to take these moments for granted. I don’t want to waste these precious moments. I don’t want to wish away this season even though it’s hard. The grass isn’t greener on the other side, even if it looks more vibrant from where we’re sitting. And if I need this reminder today, maybe you do too.

You're right about the years. They go by too quickly and keep speeding up.

  6. Really good pictures. Now I want a pool again. Just what I need, something else to take care of. NOT! *ha ha* It's dried out here. I wish it would rain. I'm pretty content where I am ... at the moment ... God bless. ~:)
