Update on Jim. We were at the dentist from 9:30 and didn't get home until 1:30, as we had to get his prescription filled on the way home. He had 4 teeth pulled and he is all stitched up. The feeling had not come back until we made it home and then it started. The dentist told him to put a tea bag on the area to help with bleeding and use an ice pack. Nothing but liquids and soft foods of course. I didn't go to church because I was afraid he might bleed or have problems, and I wanted to be with him to help.
Last but certainly not least, my daughter Leigh and family are at Anna Maria Island, Florida, on a week's vacation. My other daughter, Jennifer and her family have been going there for years, but Leigh had not. She sent a bunch of pictures and said they absolutely loved it there....peaceful, clean, and they would definitely go back. Am attaching some pictures which of course I think are beautiful.

Good morning Linda! What a cool TBT photo! I think it is amazing that you have been going to the same church for all these years! I love the vacation photos..they look like they are having so much fun! I sure hope Jim is feeling better soon. I will keep him in my prayers!
ReplyDeleteKeeping Jim in prayer..love the picture of your grandaughter and the monkey's, lol. Thanks for sharing your photos..loved them. Blessings
ReplyDeleteLove the old church! That was a long time at the dentist. Hope he's doing ok today.
ReplyDeleteThe family looks like they're having a great time.
Love the old photo of the original church, and Jim's car!! Hope he is doing better today! Anna Maria Island is a favorite place for a lot of locals. We've only gone down there a couple of times, because it is a 2-hour drive for us. St. Pete Beach is closer, and we don't have to stay over. AMI is beautiful, and I'm glad to hear the family is enjoying it. The photos are wonderful - your girls are so lovely. Hugs & prayers!
ReplyDeleteThe pictures of the girls are pretty. I like the monkeys. That's also a great picture of the old church and Jim's car. You are so fortunate to have a church home all these years.
ReplyDeleteI hope Jim's feeling better. That much dental work can make a body feel horrible for a long time. Wishing him a speedy recovery.
