Matthew 24:6 And ye shall hear of wars and rumours of wars: see that ye be not troubled: for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet.

Every single day that I get up and turn on the television, it is something new....countries being bombed, planes going down, hundreds of people getting killed and on and on and on.  It is near, so I need to make sure I am ready for the next chapter.
We had a new family move next door yesterday....all 5 of them are sweet and pretty----------Mom and 4 babies doing well.  She is really a good mother...all she does is eat and drink and right back to care for her little ones.
Not only did that give us a big smile, but Murphy brought some more corn out of his garden, and it is near perfect.  It had no worms, no bad spots, just smooth, fat kernels and they were as good to eat as they look!
Jim has a dental appointment at 2, and other than that, we will have quiet weekend planned.

Wishing you sunshine and roses!

  1. I LOVE corn on the cob, dripping in butter and with just a little salt. Oh my goodness! The kittens are precious, and I'm glad the momma is a good one! Will you be adopting a friend for Cali?

Tragic news, every day. How much longer can it go on? Pray.

  5. The prophecies are beginning to come true. Our world is changing. We can see it, but my heart breaks for those that can't.
The corn looks so delicious. I love sweet corn dripping with melted butter and salt and pepper. Now I'm hungry. You have a good weekend. Blessing to you and your hubby.

  6. Oh, yeah, love corn! Especially Silver Queen, dripping with real butter, salt and pepper.

The cats are cute. I'm glad she's being a good MaMa.

The days are dark dear friends. I'm an amateur historian and know that many civilizations, some greater than ours, have come and gone. If the Lord tarries, there will be more collapses of society before it's over. I think what's really telling is so much of what is prophesied as Last Days (of grace, that is, not the Judgement) has come to pass: blood on the moon (1969), increased earthquakes, time of great knowledge, wildlife being decimated, society is like Sodom & Gomorrah, etc. What's really telling is Israel must "stand alone". With this brainless idjit in office, I think we can pretty much say that they are totally on their own, except for those of us who believe in Jesus Christ. We must be gotten out of the way before that can happen. If that Mosque on the Temple Mount in Jerusalem is destroyed, then, yeah, I think it's time. I have no special knowledge or guidance, it could be another 1,000 years, but I do "think" we're incredibly close to The Rapture of the Saints. I pray for all those who must go through the Tribulation. We must witness constantly to be sure no one gets left behind.

    Luv ~:)

  8. Corn on the cob is one of my favorite summer foods. We grilled our corn on our last camping trip. It was really good. The mama cat and her babies are so precious!! Yesterday was such a sad day for our world. I pray so hard for peace.
