IN THE GOOD OLD SUMMER TIME!

TGIF!  Ice Cream just says summer and a banana split is top on the list.

Below are a few of the things my grandchildren are doing this summer.

First are Caroline and Elizabeth.  Their Girl Scout troop went to a nearby assisted living home and planted both flowers and herbs for the residents. The girls had as much fun doing it, as the residents did watching them.

Jesse fished and learned to ride his bicycle. Gotta love his helmet!  He is all boy!

Ahhh, to be a child again.  Some days I wish it was that way, and in other ways, I don't want to go through the 'growing up' stage.  I love it that most of my grands enjoy being outside and aren't stuck in front of the TV or constantly texting. Don't get me wrong, they do use their cell phones, if they have them, but they also like being in the yard.

I usually make the right decision.'

I don't have to be one.'

'I've learned that every day you should reach out and touch someone.
People love a warm hug, or just a friendly pat on the back...'

GO, ENJOY THE DAY!

  5. The grands look so cute. I remember volunteering to work in Nursing Homes or other places when I was growing up. It's a good character builder for kids to do that.
Hope y'all are having a pain free day. ~:)
