Remember the old Bob Hope song?  "Thanks for the memories" is what my friend from days gone by, gave me....1956 is the year.

Yep, that's me in Jr. High

Yep, again - me...right side of the squad!

Service Club, front row 3rd from left.

Prophecy - hair stylist - ha ha ha!
The Will - my blue eyes and dimples!

There, you have it!  It all came from the 'FLASH', the yearbook.  It was fun looking back and remembering the people I went to Jr. High with...As I looked at each picture, it came back to me and could pick out my 'best friends'. Fifty eight years ago!

  4. I love the pictures. You haven't changed a whole lot. Pretty lady.
As soon as you mentioned that song, I could hear his voice. A good song.
I'm glad we got connected again. Happy Mother's Day.

  5. I recognized you right away, Linda! What fun to peek back like that! I don't think I have any Jr. High yearbooks; only my high school years. It's sure fun to dig out the memories we thought were long gone. Just looking at a face or a place can bring back so much! I wanted to be a hairdresser at one time! Thanks for sharing the fun with us!

  6. Oh cool there you are! I am getting back here now. I don't know for sure why I took so long but things just got a little busy crazy and it was easier to just do the quick posts on face book or click like buttons.
I love the photos and I too enjoy looking back in time.
You still look like you Linda I would be able to recognize you if I was one of your classmates at a reunion. My 40th one is coming up next year.
Oh the memories and many more to come !

  7. That was fun! You really do look the same with that kindly, sweet smile. I had forgotten, we had done a "Will" for Senior Year too. I don't know if I saved mine. The yearbook sure missed your profession, didn't they?! Mine was supposed to be Physical Therapist and I became an Accountant. So what do they know! *ha ha* Also, my 40th is this year but I'm not attending. They keep going on Cruises which I can't afford and have no interest in. I wish they'd plan something else.
Hope you and Jim are well this evening. When's his tooth extraction set up for? Still praying he'll feel better soon. ~:)

  8. Enjoyed seeing your school pictures. I've been out 60 years this year and I can't believe it. I was a cheer leader too. Thanks for your visit to my blog.
