POST STORM #2

The second day of the thunderstorms and tornadoes was much easier than day #1.  It was forecast that we would have a similar night but we didn't.  I didn't hear any rain or thunder at all. It is overcast right now, but supposed to clear out and up, later today.

Good morning and happy hump day!

I know you don't know, but the 3 guys that killed the people in our area weekend before last, have been caught and each one is under a 3.4 million dollar bond. It is a relief to those of us that live close by, and sad too, but 2 of the 3, were known by several people at my church.

Jim isn't having any luck getting in touch with his cardiologist to get the OK to have his tooth extracted.  He is in pain and aggravated also.  We even went to the Heart Institute where his office is located yesterday, and with our luck, it was closed.  He has called and called, and we even left a note at the main desk to have him call, but nothing yet.

I know I have said it before, but it worth repeating - thank you for your friendship here and being a prayer partner.  I don't take it lightly.

  1. So glad that the storms have passed and you're ok. Also that the 3 murderers have been caught. That's a huge relief, but sad on all levels.
How frustrating to not be able to get through to the Dr. I hope they call you soon! Praying he gets an answer and relief soon!

  2. So glad about the storms. Here, it is monsoonal with 20-50 mph winds, getting all that bad weather you all did (not the tornadoes, too chilly for that)--anyways--sorry about Jim and the dr.'s, how frusturating. Blessings

  3. I am happy, too, that the storms spared you any major damage. I know Tony & Laura were taking shelter in a closet at some point during the last couple of days, so one of your storms must have been pretty bad.

I am frustrated for you and Jim, that the doctor won't return your calls. Makes me angry when professionals, who are in business to provide a service, are rude and inconsiderate. Even if the doctor is sick or on vacation, someone from his/her office certainly should have been in touch with you. Grrrrr!!

I sure do count on our prayer line, here on Blogger and on Facebook. Thank you, too!!

  4. I wonder why the doctor won't acknowledge that Jim needs help? Hope he's not ill or something. Maybe one of his associates could step in. Keep calling and stress how important this is. I had to do this when I was trying to get in to see my last surgeon. I will keep praying for good results.

Glad y'all are safe. Storms missed us. We only got a little rain. I do wish the sun would return. I hate overcast days. *ugh*

BTW, I like the photo at the top of the geode's. They are so pretty. ~:)
