NEWS --------------

Victims Of Lookout Valley Massacre Shot Multiple Times By 2 Gunmen; Lone 16-Year-Old Survivor Heard One Say, "Make Sure They're All Dead"; victims Identified, 52,29,24,16 and the shooter was 19 years old.  One shooter caught and the other 'one or two' are still on the run. 3 dead and 1 barely hanging on.

This is beginning to be an every day occurrence.  When you are afraid in your own home, where do you go? Lookout Valley is a quiet area on the outskirts of town and nothing like this has ever happened before.  Of course the police believe it to be a drug related thing.  If you think it couldn't happen where you are, you are wrong.  It is a wide spread disease' in this country.  Come quickly Lord Jesus.

On a happier note, we have new next door neighbors. They are in the process of moving in the furniture.  I was sitting on the porch yesterday afternoon, and two cute little girls came through the yard and up to the porch. They asked if it was 'ok' to walk in our yard?  Cute and polite too....gives me hope for our future generation.  I told them they could walk in front or back any time.  They told me their names and asked what I would like to be called.  Refreshing!

Happy Friday!

  1. The devil sure is working, isn't he? (reading your beginning of the post) --I am glad you getting nice neighbors. That in itself is a good thing. Have a beautiful day. 2. How horrible about the shooting. Makes you wonder, what went on or I should say, what went wrong. I can't imagine someone would just walk into a home and start shooing the people. I also noticed when reading the short article, it was an older man, 53, with younger males in the home, all with different last names. And it is sad, but it does seem so much of this is happening everyplace, that it does seem like a daily occurrence. But lets home not.

Let's hope the family moving in next door remains, friendly and courteous. We once had a family, that would walk from their backyard into ours and walk right in to our family room without knocking. Then we started getting phone calls for them and I would have to run next door to get them to come to our phone. We finally had the phone removed, told them we couldn't afford it. So they got their own, then we had one put back in. Also we installed a fence and had only one gate, that was to the other side of the house, that stopped them walking in without knocking. They would have given you the shirt off their back, but they just didn't use common sense when it came to being neighbors.

  6. It's a sad day indeed when there's violence or hurt or injustice. Evil is everywhere. I'm sorry to hear it was so close to y'all. We humans sure have made a mess of the Lord's once unspoiled earth.
I too pray that the new neighbors will stay nice. "Even so Lord, come." ~:)

  8. That's just awful! We had a robbery in our little town yesterday which is also very unusual. I love hearing about those little girls though - what sweeties!

  9. So terrible about the shootings - and it does seem to be a disease spreading.

But a breath of fresh air to have the two little girls come for a visit and be so polite!
