I love to read.  I was sure when I retired I would be able to read as much as I wanted to.....NOT. Somehow I seem to be more busy now than before.  I carry my Kindle everywhere I go, in case I can read a few pages on the current book.  But it seems to take me so much longer to finish a book...Sigh.

Good Saturday morning to you.  Hope you either slept later than usual or are up and doing something you had planned. Jim is going to the men's prayer breakfast at church and I may go to my favorite thrift store.  He doesn't enjoy that, so this would be a good time.

To close, things aren't always as they seem...................

  3. Since early childhood, I've been a verocious reader. I still only use paper books and plan to remain that mode. Just can't warm up to technology. :) Anyway, this week I've started re-reading "Elizabeth, The Struggle For The Throne" by David Starkey. His works are fantastic. No fantasy, it's all facts about the English monarchy. I highly recommend his works. Alistair Weir delves too much into "fantasy" dogging the monarchy. But, like you've shown us with the photos, things are not always what they seem. God bless. ~:)

  4. As you know, I'm an avid reader too with a Kindle that goes with me. I've becomea slower reader too as I get older. I'm always on the lookout for new titles, especially ones that an acquaintance has reviewed. But I still stick to my mysteries.
Hope you're having a good weekend. Take care. ♥
