"ANOTHER DAY IN PARADISE"

The blogger fairies were at work again last night. When I opened my blog to make changes, it was dated March 9th!  I am just going to 'play like' it didn't happen and go on and work.

I did go and had the ornament blown for Aryn and will pick it up today.  I will take a picture and post.

The recreation center has already begun their summer programs and Jesse is going to play baseball again.  We drove over to watch them.  Little boys are so cute.....they seem to have rubber bands on their feet because they are bouncing around on the field!  Jesse is best at hitting the ball and he got a really good one right before we left.  It is going to be a fun summer.

We don't have plans for the weekend yet, and will wait to see if we need to keep Jesse or not.  Murphy and Stacy both work on weekend, so they have to make plans for him.

Capernaum Synagogie - Imagine the voice of Jesus echoing off the ancient stone pillars of this Synagogue, where he once preached a powerful sermon to his followers.  "I am the bread of life," he told them here in Capernaum.  "Whoever comes to me will never go hungry, and whoever believes in me will never be thirsty."  (John 6:35)

I found the above on Max Lucado's Facebook page and thought it was interesting.  Some of you may have toured the Holy Land, but I haven't, and pictures never cease to amaze me.  I am too old now to complete my 'bucket list', but that area would have definitely been on it.

One of my long time blog friends did go to the Holy Land, and she brought several of us things from there, and what I received was a bottle of water from the Jordan River.

I wish you a good Friday and happy weekend!

  3. I wish you a good Friday. I don't think I will ever get to the Holy Land in this life but in the next life I am sure.

  4. I have no desire to see that part of the world in this life. I've read too many books on travels there and it doesn't sound pleasant. I'd much rather tour America and Ontario Canada. Like Patsy mentioned above, though, I know I'll get to enter Jerusalem with my Saviour when it's time.
Cute photo at the top of the blog. One nice thing about being retired is it's always Saturday. ~:)

    1. So true about retirement, but I still get up at the same time every day that I did when I worked....lol I have visited all 48 states but missed Alaska and Hawaii. At this point in time tho, I doubt I would feel very safe leaving the good old USA at all.
