I am thankful again for the outcome of Leigh's surgery. She has had no pain and has been able to sleep. This was a good time for the surgery, as she had Thursday through next Monday off from work.
Both sad and glad..............My son Murphy and his soon to be ex-wife, sat down with their 7 year old son and tried to explain why they wouldn't be living together any longer and would be getting a divorce. Bless his precious heart, Jesse cried of course and told them 'if they would stay together, he would work or do anything he could'. I know it will take a long time, and in some ways, he will never understand, but they had to tell him, as she is supposed to be moving her belongings out of the house this weekend. They do have shared custody, so he will spend some time with both parents.
We have no plans for the holiday weekend, so we will have to wait and see what happens. We do thank all of the military for their service in the past, present and future. This country remains the strongest in the world and safest because of them.

That is really sad about your grandson. I'll be praying for him, as well.
We do not have plans for the long weekend either. We may walk thru a thrift store today. Our weather is a little cooler than it has been. Too pretty to stay indoors.

ReplyDeleteSo happy to hear Leigh is improving. All this divorce is a plague on society. So sad. We're not doing anything for Memorial Day. Too broke from the inflation that our idjit president says doesn't exist. Hope your weekend gets better. ~:)

Your granddaughter is amazing! Glad your daughter is doing well. A long weekend in which to recover is what's needed! God bless that little boy....saying a prayer for him. As for this Holiday weekend, I'm really hoping to have my son hang some pictures that have resided behind a sofa for a year :) and, I must get to a greenhouse to buy flowers for hubby to plant. I buy them and tell him where to plant them. He plants and waters and keeps them alive! He's a good man :)
