Our Pastor is coming at 10:30 to see Jim's guns. I preface it to say, Jim has been an avid hunter all of his life, and this is his collection over many years. They are normally kept in a safe, but our Pastor is also a hunter and young, and wanted to see these guns.
We have appointment at 1:50 to see the cardiologist for Jim. It is just a routine visit, so don't think we will there very long as everything, heart wise, seems to be right now.
Praying you have a happy day!
GOD BLESS US EVERYONE
I don't watch the news. I read the paper instead.
ReplyDeleteThat is quite a collection!! I'm sure your Pastor enjoyed seeing them. Does Murphy hunt? My dad only had two rifles that hung on the wall, waiting for hunting seasons. I don't watch the news anymore, and I don't read the front page of the newspaper anymore. It's all just sickening. I agree!!
ReplyDeleteUgh, the 'news' (i.e. propaganda) media ... we are now having Newsless Weekends. I can't watch it anymore. Y'all have an "arsenal" like we do. We have so many weapons and ammo I can't name them all anymore. Honestly, I heard that on the liberal local news media one time many, many years ago down in Florida. The guy the police where talking to had a .22 and an air rifle and the dumber than dirt reporter called it an arsenal. My husband and I have laughed about that for years.
ReplyDeleteI pray the doctor's appts all go easily. I know you'll be grateful when the visits dwindle down to zero.
Luv ~:)
You really don't want to get me going on the news, do you? I so loveeeeee your new background, so Halloweenish, lol. Great gun collection, keep them, you might need them with the way the world is going...just saying. Good luck at the dr.'s. Keeping you in prayer. Blessings
ReplyDeletePS That was rude of me about the guns...my husband says that...you just never know is what I was trying to say...
DeleteTell your hubby that I knew what you were saying....lol And you are right, we may just need them some day.
DeleteHope the appt went well! My hubby would love to see that gun collection. And yes - you and Linda are right, we may need them someday.
ReplyDeleteThere are days I need to turn off the news and remember that many of the things I am watching may not be accurate. I worked in government for years and learned that an article in the newspaper about an issue I knew well was generally only 50% accurate. These were events taking place in the same city as the newspaper, let alone thousands of miles away.
ReplyDeleteI know, the news is bad! So many killings and I just can't watch! All we can do is pray! Have a blessed day dear friend, HUGS!
ReplyDeleteI don't follow the news very much. It is much too depressing. I hope Jim's appointment goes well.
