LATE DAY

I am normally up anywhere from 4 to 6 every day because I did it for over 45 years when working.  I still do it!  So, I woke at 4:20 am and it is now 10:23 am, I am late making and posting my blog.

This Dr. appointment at 8:00 am was for Jim and a check on the eye that had the cataract removed.  All is as it should be, and he only has one more check and then released. That is a good thing, because I will have one removed from my right eye this Thursday. Doing his drops and doing mine, will have to be written on the white board to keep up with all of them.

Have you ever gone to a live cam on the Internet?  I do all the time.  I have one today that is special and thought you might enjoy watching it unfold too.  I just keep it up, and check on and off through the day, and use a new page for anything else.  Here is the link:

It is an eagle on her nest.  Sometimes she sits and sometimes he sits.  There are two eggs.  I just got to see her shifting around on the eggs.  I do not know how much longer it will be before they hatch, but sure hope I get to see them.  You can change to full screen and see the trees moving, etc. This cam is on the campus of Berry College, Rome, Georgia.

That really is all the news I have today.  Take care.

GOD BLESS US EVERYONE
AND the Birds of the air also!!

  1. Aren't those live-cams the best!! I watched an Eagles nest a year or so ago, and did get to see the babies, and feedings. I wonder if it is the same pair and the same nest. I don't remember the location. I watched bears one time, too, which was great fun. Thanks for the link and for the reminder!

I've been praying ahead for your surgery on Thursday, and will continue! Glad Jim's has been successful. Yours will be too. Hugs.

  2. I have seen one of the cams from the Eiffel Tower and the Plaza in Italy. I am up by 5 am everyday, study, shower/get ready, watch FOX NEWS, get on bus by 8:20 am. Glad to read Jim is doing well...keeping you in prayer. Blessings

  3. I pray that all these surgeries and doctor visits go easily and quickly. You'll be SO thankful to have "perfect" eyesight. Prayers for you both.
Being a wild bird enthusiast, I look at the Berry College Eagle Cam often. You should see Bald Eagle's in person! They're magnificent. Quite majestic.
    Have a blessed day. ~:)

  4. I hope all goes well with your eye surgery!

I watched eagles in their nest a couple of years ago for a while, it was fascinating. I also watched hummingbirds somewhere for a while. I really don't have time to check in with them anymore.
