FREE DAY!!!

No doctor or surgery appointments today, praise the Lord.  I am getting weary of them, but know I will be better for it when finished.

I didn't sleep too well last night because I got cold. I had turned on the electric blanket, way before I went to bed, but still got cold.  I believe the temperature dropped during the night too.  I even turned the gage up and still got cold. Therefore, I was awake, asleep, awake, asleep, you know the drill.  Finally got up at 5:30.

I decided since I was awake and up, to put something in the crock pot for supper tonight. To the freezer I went, took out two boneless pork chops.  I put them in with some mushroom soup, and had 1/2 package of mixed veggies in the freezer, so put them in as well.  Took out a package of Sister Schubert's dinner rolls, and now I am set for the day.

I was on Tumblr last night, scrolling away, and saw a picture of this theater in Chicago.
I had to look twice because we have a similar theater here in Chattanooga.  Small world we live in huh?
I am sure both have stage plays, concerts, and ours even holds some graduation ceremonies.

Basketball season is over, other than the tournaments.  I can't remember if I posted that in Aryn's last regular game, she scored 45 points and had 11 steals. If I did post that, forgive, but she is amazing to watch.  They remain 2nd in their district and are working hard to come out in the end on top!

Church tonight for us.  Hope your day is what you want it to be.

GOD BLESS US EVERYONE

  2. I hate those awake, asleep, awake, asleep nights. You can never get good rest that way. I crashed last night. I woke up 6:30 this morning and I was still on the sofa, in my clothes, with all the lights on. *sigh* Enjoy your day off today!

  3. I love having dinner in the crockpot for the day. Always a good feeling to have dinner 'finished' in the morning!

  5. Congratulations to Aryn and her team. According to the weather channel, the whole country is screwed up. The south is cold, the west is hot and New England is buried. I've had nights like that too. Not a good thing. Enjoy your 'free day'. I hope it warms up and the sun shines on your shoulders.

  6. We had a potluck breakfast for staff today, so I got up a 4:00 a.m., to put a breakfast dish in the crockpot. It turned out pretty good, but I sure could have used that extra hour of sleep! I even laid down again, but didn't go back to sleep. Aryn is an amazing athlete!! Enjoy your worship tonight, Linda. I know you will. Prayers are still being lifted for Jim and for you, for your surgery tomorrow!

  7. I had one of those sleep, awake, sleep, awake nights too. I thought it was the bright 1/2 moon outside but it could be other things. Makes one very tired the next day. Yuck!
As for the similar theater's, maybe it was the same architect or sign maker from that period? We had a theater in Titusville, Florida from the same period that was the same style.
Prayers for tomorrows surgery to go smoothly. God bless. ~:)
