YOU MIGHT WANT TO SKIP ME TODAY!

Rainy, cold and whatever word describes a yukky day!  I am in a down mood, and partially due to winter and the weather.

Nothing going on.  Aryn has a basketball game tonight, but unless the sun comes out and dries everything, we won't be going.  With the cataract in my right eye, I don't see very well, and don't want to be going up and down the mountain in the dark and with rain.  It could be dangerous to our health.  Cataract removal scheduled for the middle of February and it can't come soon enough.

Depression may be described as
feeling sad, blue, unhappy, miserable, or down in the dumps.
Most of us feel this way at one time or another for short periods.

  2. I would add, to that last quote in the box, that you should not stop, but begin again!!

You are right, we all get down, Linda. It is normal (especially when the days are dark and gray). Feel the warm glow of love and blessings surround you! Hugs!!

    1. You are kind and I thank you very much for caring...I just made some spiced tea and going to have a cup of that, and read my book.

  4. Oh I pray you're feeling better by now. I hate feeling like that too. It's rainy, gloomy and chilly in our neck of the woods too. Can't do anything outside. Work gets me through times when I'm feeling blue. Today we both got all the cleaning items out of the closet and set to it. Now the house is clean, smells good, and the day is almost over. Next I think I'll do a little light sewing or some other project. Oh, and I also close the blinds, turn on all the lights, burn a couple of scented candles and play my favorite Classical music in the background. Makes the house bright and cheerful!
    Luv ~:)

  5. {Linda} Big hugs. Although it is sunny here, it is darn right cold. So, like you, I have had my nose in a book today. I hope your blahs go away. Blessings

  6. This is the kind of day you turn the heat up one more degree, turn all the lights on to make everything cheerful, find a good movie or old game show (thank goodness I get the Game Show Network on my ipad, watch a lot of old reruns, really like the old Match Games) and snuggle down on the sofa or a recliner and enjoy the afternoon. It's dreary here today also. Temp is about 35 out there, but seems really damp. Looks like it could snow. Hang in there, tomorrow will be a better day, at least we all hope so. Tell hubby hello from two old farts in Ohio. LOL

  8. I'm here late and I hope your day has improved. The weather can really affect us, especially when you have other things going on already.
You have lots of people who care about you though! ((Hugs)) and prayers from me!
