WAKE UP, WAKE UP!

I know that cup of coffee doesn't have a thing to do with Christmas, but it looked so good, I just had to post it, and am now working on my first cup of the day.

The days are flying by, and I hope you have done your shopping, wrapping, etc., and can sit back and enjoy the sights and sounds.

Grayce, my 13 year old granddaughter went to her Middle School's Christmas 'Dance'. I put dance in quotes, because I am not sure how much dancing these middle schoolers do, but they do love getting dressed up and going.  (at least the girls do!)  When I saw the pictures of her, I couldn't believe how grown up she looked.  I have always thought (as most grandmothers would) that she is a beautiful young lady and she proved that to us tonight.

Goodness how time flies!

We went to see Aryn play basketball and it was where my son, Murphy went to school, and played on that very floor.  It was a great game all the way.  Aryn scored 24 points but the whole team worked together and we were so happy about that.  They won 58-33, and was the first time in a long time they had beat this school.  It is a private Christian school.

This is what was written in the newspaper this morning:  "Aryn Sanders poured in a game-high 24 points to lead the Lady Eagles, 10 points coming in the third quarter and 16 in the second half."

Today is the "Hoops For Hope" tournament, which is held yearly to benefit the cancer center.  Aryn's team plays at 2:30.  We haven't decided yet, if we are going or not.

The local Christmas parade is at 12 noon and our church is participating.  We want to go to that, and luckily, we can sit in the car and have a front row seat. The tournament is right after the parade.

And the day goes on!  At 6 tonight, our daughter is hosting a dinner for all the family members, laws, in-laws, and friends.

Another busy holiday - day!  Hope you have a good one too.

KEEP CHRIST IN CHRISTMAS
