... ...AND SINCE WE'VE NO PLACE TO GO, LET IT SNOW! LET IT SNOW! LET IT SNOW!

We don't have snow nor do we have any predictions of snow, but I can dream, can't I? We do have the fireplace though and we enjoy it all winter long.

My one and only grandson, first grade, 7 years old, was in his first play at school yesterday.  Each class had someone from the State of Tennessee to portray and have a booth set up with info on that person.  Jesse's class had John Sevier, the first governor of Tennessee, he learned his lines, and got his costume ready. We didn't get to see him, but did get the pictures.

In the bottom picture, where he is facing the girl, he tipped his hat to her. When he got home, he ran over here to show us how it was done!  Of course my heart skipped a beat and became enlarged!!!

A dear friend sent me an email yesterday with this in it, and I had to share with my blog friends.......

The Ginger Bread House I made for Christmas
Write me if you want the recipe.
Hope everyone has a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!
That would be about right for me.

Good report at the pain clinic yesterday and no plans for today. We can be home-bodies!  Hope your day is a special one.

KEEP CHRIST IN CHRISTMAS

  1. Aww...Jesse just melts my heart. Well, Linda, the snow has melted here, however, looking at the 10 day weather pattern, looks like snow/ice for Christmas Eve. I sure hope so.

LOL on the last picture...thanks for the smiles. Blessings and Merry Christmas.

  3. My goodness, I remember when Jesse was such a little guy, and then had some health problems that we all had to pray about! You and I have been friends a long time, Linda! Jesse is adorable!! Now I can guess where the town of Sevierville got its name! Excellent news from the pain clinic! Enjoy your quieter day!

  6. I want to curl up in front of a fire and it's not even snowing here. Sometimes I miss having a fireplace. They're so cozy.
Jesse is going to be a heart breaker when he gets older because he's so cute now.
Someone else sent me that "recipe" too. So funny.
    Luv ~:)
