PLAY DAY!

My oldest daughter loves to entertain, so for the past three years, she has had a brunch for just the ladies in our family.  It is always good food, fellowship and lots of story telling.  I look forward to going today and pictures will follow.

We had a pretty severe storm yesterday afternoon, but am thankful nothing was damaged in my area.

Murphy and his family returned from their trip to Gatlinburg and from what I could tell from Jesse, they enjoyed the short vacation.  He was talking so fast, trying to tell it all, I could barely keep up!

The book.  Several years ago, maybe 12-15, a dear friend bought this book for me. It looked and sounded kind of weird, but as the years have gone by, things have happened in my life, some happy times, some sad times, I would get out my book and read several pages. You will be surprised that there are 14,000 thousand, and more, things to be happy about.  I highly recommend it.  There are no chapters or main characters, just you and happiness.

  4. I remember you posting photos from last year's ladies brunch. It's a wonderful idea, and I look forward to hearing about it, and seeing your photos from this year. What a fun time to look forward to! Glad the storm didn't cause any damage, and that Murphy's clan got home safely from their mini-vacation. Jesse is so cute!!

  5. A brunch sounds really good right now and it's in the afternoon. Hope there will be pictures later. :) So glad the nasty weather didn't harm y'all. It's too hot to go outside and do anything fun here today. The book sounds interesting. Have a pleasant rest of the day! ~:)

  6. I'm trying to catch up on all the posts I've missed this week. I was too late to see what you were talking about.... the book? You changed your blog page and all is lost. My own fault. Hope you had a great time at the brunch yesterday.
