THE DAY BEFORE THE DAY!!!

Good morning all!  One more day until the weekend rolls around again.  Even though it is still hot and humid, I can feel fall approaching fast.  The Farmer's Almanac predicts another very cold and snowy winter, so now is the time to get ready for that.  Wood cutting, gas tanks filled with propane, etc.

We went to see Aryn play volleyball again and they won.  They played a team in their district so it counts toward the final.  Plus, that team has always been one of their biggest rivals.

The kitties are beginning to like one another a little bit I think.  They sleep in the same room and I didn't hear a peep out of them all night.

I found the following on Pinterest and thought it was interesting----------

Another good one I found is the following, and I always have some socks that hide, so instead of throwing them away, I can do this-----------

One last thing and I will end this..........anybody know who this is?  It is someone from another era, but if I remember, someone else might too!

  1. I'm happy to hear that the cats are getting along. What a great idea for orphan socks! Its a wonder every time an odd sock comes out of the wash... how does that happen?

  2. So glad to hear that Pipy and Cali are doing so well, so quickly!! I've seen that idea about the orphan socks, before, but have to tell you that some ladies were crocheting covers for the Swifters and selling them at a craft fair - I bought two. Washable and very cute! I think it is Boy George, and I thought that before I saw Sue's post!! :)

I was never a fan either, and I didn't know the face. My first guess was KISS. That's how much I know.

  6. I'm surprised I recognized Boy George since I was never a fan. Maybe it was his outlandish way of dressing that stuck in my memory.
Colgate translates to that in Spanish!? Howda thunk it. *lol*
