ANOTHER DAY--------

Maya Angelou said----

'I've learned that regardless of your relationship with your parents, you'll miss them when they're gone from your life.'

'I've learned that making a 'living' is not the same thing as 'making a life.'

'I've learned that life sometimes gives you a second chance..'

'I've learned that you shouldn't go through life with a catcher's mitt on both hands; you need to be able to throw some things back...'
..............to be continued

I wish I had something new and exciting to blog about this morning, but I don't.  Same old things, day in and day out.  I guess that is what 'old age' is about, or it is for Jim and me.  We get up and ask each other, 'did you sleep, are you in pain, what do you want for breakfast?'
See how exciting our lives are!!!

Rather than bore you further, I leave you with this-----------

  1. Sometimes boring is good... I'd rather call it relaxing than boring. Enjoyed reading your block. I'm from the other side of the state.

  8. I like the response.... "not my circus". I've often felt that way in the middle of listening to someone's pity party, but never say anything to them.
My (our) mornings are the same here. I used to think my life was boring too, but when I have to deal with the alternative, I'd rather have the quiet, peaceful days. It's actually a blessing. I smile and say "thank you, Lord, for another day".
I hope you and Jim are having a good day.
