A GOOD 13TH!

Friday, the 13th is not a scary nor bad day for me, as my oldest daughter was born on that day.  She has always been special to us in every way, so no bad luck there.
Riverbend is in full swing I have been told.  My oldest granddaughter has been every night as far as I can tell.  This is a picture of her in the middle and her two best friends.  They stick together like glue!!!  (Leigh, above, is her Mom)

Annual John Stallworth Celebrity Golf Tournament set for June 13 at Hampton Cove

My son, Murphy, and his two best friends, headed south to Huntsville, Alabama last night to a golf tournament beginning today.  It is a private tournament, for retired Pittsburg Steelers football players. Murphy and his buddies get to drive the golf carts around, with the players in them. Murphy has been a Steelers fan as long as I can remember, so this was going to be wonderful for him.  He was like a kid in a candy store with excitement.

Well, that is all my news, so I had better 'get on my horse' and ride.  Have several errands to run this morning.

  1. Dates mean nothing to me too. It reminds me of a comedic movie I once saw, "Saturday The 14th". It was produced and directed by Richard Benjamin. Really funny guy.

Happy Birthday to your daughter! She has a lovely smile.

It's been a busy day for us too: mowing, cleaning house, etc. Plus we got the bikes ready for a short ride tomorrow. Hope all your errands where completed as desired and you're both feeling well. ~:)

  2. Happy Birthday to Leigh. Your daughter is very pretty, as is your gr-daughters. This date doesn't bother me either. It's just a number, not superstition. I hope your son is having a great time. That would be exciting for a fan. You take care... have a good weekend.

  6. Good morning, Linda! My friend Tony is has been blogging about Riverbend. Sounds like a fun annual event! Rayven is beautiful! I can't get over how much older she has gotten in just the past year! I've had some computer issues that make getting on blogger as chore. I hate that because I miss you all so much. I need to buy a new laptop but I just can't afford one right now. Mine is almost 10 years old..that is ancient when it comes to computers..haha. The Steelers golf outing sounds fun! Take care and have a great weekend!
